Sharing is always a good thing to do... And book sharing is even better... (at least I think it is)...

I would suggest one book as one of the TOP 5 books in Fiona's Book Gallery...

It's called The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo. ( 龙纹身的女孩）(originally called in swedish: "Män som hatar kvinnor").

Although the version I read is in Chinese, but I bet the English version is as nice. It's one of the best detectives stories that I have read so far with a shocking ending. It's evil, it's dark and however it is kind of real. And it gets me to know how Europeans live, which I think it's kind of different from Americans... From the book, I got to know Europeans live on open cucumber sandwiches (not sure about how true it is).

The story is now made into movie... I'm not sure if the movie is as nice, but I have seen the trailer which I think it's quite good.

It's about a girl mysteriously disappeared for 40 years and how a journalist with the help of an asocial punk uncovered the dark and evil secret of the family and the disappearance. A really nice story which is worth reading... and worth buying an original copy...

Highly recommended by Fiona's Book Gallery....

My giant Cookies...

Finally, I baked the cookies after leaving the ingredients in kitchen basket since last winter break... Hmmm....More than half a year I guess. Luck me, they're not overdue.

I know the cookies look humongous and bit awful... But they taste pretty... erm... alright..
Well, might be trying some other choco stuffs since I still got half a packet of cooking dark chocolate and a full packet of choco chips..

Hopefully, will look more elegant =)

墓。幕

无聊的时候，常常都会去逛街、逛书店、逛电影院，其实偶尔逛逛墓碑也还不错。

一个一个墓碑代表了一个一个非常独特的人生。有些只是短短几个月的生命，有些则拥有八九十年的人生；有些是英年早逝的壮汉，有些是与病魔奋战的勇士；有些是未出娘胎的婴儿，有些是难产与孩子共赴黄泉的母亲。啊，母亲们多伟大呀！

记得有一家人，里头的孩子都非常早逝，二十出头就都过世了，大都死于意外，而且是一年接着一年。那时我就在想，白发人送黑发人的痛这父母是怎么熬过来的啊。他们需要多大的坚强和多大的勇气呀。

而那些一夜间失去妻儿的丈夫们又是有多么的心痛呢，那些一个人抚养孩子的又有多煎熬呢... ...

每一个墓碑都是一个故事，不论是灿烂还是凄凉，终算也曾经活过一回。活着真的很好，只要睁开眼睛，明天还会是全新的一天。

一墓一墓，一幕一幕，比电影来得更精彩，比戏剧来得更真实。

这些墓碑是在 Picton 的一个教堂旁，有上百年历史了。

I wish I can fly

I got my air ticket with me...
I got my passport with me...
I got my luggage with me...
and I was in the Gold Coast airport...

Instead of boarding a plane and fly 12 hours to Sibu, I went on a car and took 12 hours to get to Sydney... I'm really tired...

What an unbelievable day......

Saturday 10.00 am (NSW time)
I woke up and read the recipe of ang koo kueh... I told myself I'm going to make ang koo today... Then, I made myself a cup of hot milo with two Sao biscuits in it.... Climbing back into my sweet little bed... picking up a book and started to read. Just after I finished two pages, there come my cell phone ringing....

"Hey, fly up to Brisbane today and stay with us for another week... You can go back to Sydney with us next weekends...." ... A phone call from my auntie....

"Erm.... Erm... today??? you mean now??? Let me think first..."

"Don't think too much... Go get an air ticket... "

"Erm... o....k....a....y...."

Searching for air ticket....

Bought the ticket....
Check-in....
Packing....
Lunch...

Off to airport

Boarding

3.30 pm (Queensland time)
Landed in Brisbane airport...
and now here I am.... in Brisbane.... Can't believe it.....

2010 To-Do-List

1. Loss weight... at least 3 kilos... and keep fit
2. Master my guitar... learn at least 10 songs... and hopefully can create my own....
3. Master cooking skills... master at least 10 more main dishes... and at least 5 more desserts.
4. Get more involved in voluntary work... join at least 12 events... and make more friends
5. Be more sociable... Spend time with different people... Don't just stick to certain groups... spend time with at least 4 different groups per month.
6. Maintain at least distinction average in all my unit of study...
7. Get more involved in engineering... attend more engineering events... for a start let's say 5 at least...
8. Produce more writings... at least 30 completed work....
9. Get involve in sports... I know this is kinda hard for me... but I'll certainly make it... so for a start, let's say 2 sports....
10. Be a brighter, smarter, prettier, healthier, cheerful and likable person...

悼念过去一年

Well, well, 一日又一日，一年又一年，日子还是一样过... ...
过得怎么样，我也说不上来... ...

I felt I have done a lot of things, but I don't know what I've done... ... and I know I can do much more.

I went on a few voluntary work... not much just a few... and I know I can do much more and much better.

I was looking for money, then ended up in teaching.... Yeah, I found some but only some... I know I can do much better.

I put a little bit of effort and courage in pursuing my dreams... not much just a very very very little bit... but I haven't seen any outcome... and I know I can do much better.

I bought a guitar at the end of 2009, and still it is there, haven't started learning... and I know I can do much better.

I ate a lot of food, but I don't remember what I've eaten... ... (I'm certain that I ate a lot... especially the time when standing on a scale...) and I know I have to stop...

2009 平静，平淡的一年，我只能说我还可以做得更好。 而至少在今年的最后我看到了那一片海。那一片最美丽，最让我倾心的海。

平静的它是平和，是温柔，是气质的美丽，让人的心也好平静。

汹涌的它是狂野，是那么的不顾一切，是那么有个性的美丽，让人不禁对它敬畏。

听说那一片海叫南极海... ... 遥远的另一端就是南极... ...

站在这里我看不到南极，却深深感受到南极的美。

其实平静也没什么不好... ...
